Use of Preposition (About)

How It’s Used:

यह कैसे उपयोग किया जाता है:

on the subject of; concerning

विषय के सन्दर्भ में; विषय में

used to indicate movement within a particular area

किसी विशेष क्षेत्र के भीतर आंदोलन को इंगित करने के लिए प्रयोग किया जाता है

used to express location in a particular place

किसी विशेष स्थान पर स्थान व्यक्त करने के लिए उपयोग किया जाता है

used for certain place / person

कुछ जगह / व्यक्ति के लिए इस्तेमाल किया जाता है

Example:

I was thinking about you

मैं तुम्हारे बारे में सोच रहा था

rugs strewn about the hall

हॉल के बारे में छिद्रित रगड़

the train is about to start

ट्रेन शुरू होने वाली है

it is about 3 O’clock
