Simple Future Tense: The
Simple future tense means an action which has still to take place in the future.

Rules:
- “ Will “ is used with all persons. “ Shall “ can be used instead of “ will “ with I (singular) / We (plural).
- In the future tense, we must use the auxiliary will or shall.
- Auxiliary verb “will not (won’t) or shall not (shan’t)” and simple form of the verb is used.
- The Auxiliary verb Will or shall is used in the beginning of the sentences.
Formula:
Positive: Subject + shall / will + V1 + object
Negative: Subject + shall /
will + not + V1 + object
Interrogative: shall / will +
subject + V1 + object
Nag. Int.: shall / will + not
+ subject + V1 + object
Example:
- I shall go to Mumbai tomorrow.
- They will play cricket today.

Example:
सोनु पढ़ेगी ।
Positive: Sonu will study.
Negative: Sonu won’t study.
Interrogative: Will Sonu
study?
Neg. Int.: Won’t Sonu study?
जयश्री कल से गायेगी ।
Positive: Jayshri will sing
from tomorrow.
Negative: Jayshri won’t sing
from tomorrow.
Interrogative: Will Jayshri
sing from tomorrow?
Neg. Int.: Won’t Jayshri sing
from tomorrow?
दिव्यानी कल दिल्ली
जायेगी ।
Positive: Divyani will go to
Delhi tomorrow.
Negative: Divyani won’t go to
Delhi tomorrow.
